After our 3rd discussion
We wanted a design that could be stable and comfortable at the same time while not sacrificing maneuverability. Dexter felt that the pedals for the design on the left may be difficult to push with the feet given the "lean-back" sitting position.

I didn't think that the pedaling would be an issue and by implementing the design on the right, it might even impede the rider's field of vision of the ground. The design is not finalized but the idea of minimizing the wheel-to-wheel distance is mostly confirmed.

We will explore curves to find an optimal sitting position that is comfortable yet functional for the go-kart. Curves would give it a sleek look and we experiment with using plywood. This will be a similar concept with one of the vehicles introduced to us that was previously done in the 2.007 course.
